The area
The Lungotevere dei Mellini is the stretch of Lungotevere that connects via Vittoria Colonna to Piazza della Libertà, in Rome, in the Prati district. The Lungotevere takes its name from the Mellini family (or Millini), owners of a house at the Monti district and one in Piazza Navona; was established with resolution of 20 July 1887.
